In the healthcare sector, the medical devices industry is one of the most attractive sub-sectors since over 90% of medical equipment in Vietnam is imported from foreign companies, of which 55% are from Japan, Germany, the US, China, and Singapore. In addition, the value of imported medical devices into Vietnam has grown significantly over the last five years, reaching US$543.5 million in 2019 and demonstrating a substantial growth of 51% compared to 2014.
