EuroCham – SCCV Members are invited to attend events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in honor of the occasion.

H.E. Mr. Janusz Wojciechowski, EU Commissioner for Agriculture, will visit Vietnam from 10 to 14 July 2022 with a delegation of 50 agri-food companies and organizations. The trip’s aim is to promote European agricultural exports, and to reap the benefits of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

For an assessment of agri-food opportunities under the EVFTA, the EU will organise a seminar on 11 July at the Hilton Hanoi Opera on the Vietnamese market and consumer trends. Further information will be released as it becomes available.

Then on 13 July, at Ho Chi Minh City’s Sofitel Saigon Plaza, the EU will host the EU-Vietnam Agri-food Business Forum inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Janusz Wojciechowski, Vietnam’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) Mr. Le Minh Hoan, and the Chairman and President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Mr. Pham Tan Cong. Participants will discuss agricultural marketing, eco-friendly practices, and EU-Vietnamese business partnerships.
